All of Pure Health Nutrients formulas are manufactured in a world class FDA registered facility — following Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP’s) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to insure consistent high quality.
All of our formulations take into consideration what’s going to produce the optimal herbal formula. Some herbs lose potency when they dry, and need to be extracted fresh. Some herbs must be heated in water while others cold percolation is optimal. And others produce the best when soaked in alcohol and water for up to 12 weeks.
And many herbal products on the internet and in stores either don’t have what they say they have in them, or they’re filled with pesticide sprayed herbs. Or worse — both. With Pure Health Nutrients you always get the best.
About our founder…
In 1981 – at the age of 12, I started this journey. As a competitive athlete suddenly stuck in leg cast for 6-weeks, I asked a simple, but profound question: “What can I do to help stay in the best shape while I can’t really move?”
The answer came quickly: “Eat healthier.”
Before the cast, I guess I ate reasonably healthy meals. Yet, I still ate the packaged cereals, pop tarts, snuck in cookies and ice cream some mornings, ate processed white bread, processed cheese, and drank some sugary drinks. And I have no idea what pesticides were consumed in the “conventional” food. Basically, I ate like most people ate then, and still do today.
But that all came to a screeching halt. For a 12-year old, I became pretty serious. I’ve certainly refined my foods and drinks over the years, but really my core philosophy has stayed constant: “The more you eat from its original source, in its original form, the healthier you will be.”
And that means the supplements we consume. Pure Health Nutrients grew out of this foundational belief. It took one initial event to really solidify my belief. In 2002, I stepped on a nail.
After a week of putting antibiotic ointment on the spot three times a day, my foot was more swollen and painful.
I was ready to go to the doctor, but decided to try something first (not advice). I’d just started my journey with herbs and wanted to see what Oregano Oil could do. I rubbed some diluted oil on my nail wound, and took it internally three times a day. Amazingly, by the end of the second day, the pain and the swollenness was gone. Well, that got my attention!
After years of using and sharing herbs with others, I’m no longer shocked when herbs and plants like Oregano Oil, Olive Leaf, Goldenseal Root, Osha Root, Oregon Grape Root, Milk Thistle Seed, Cayenne, Ginger Root, Yellow Dock Root, Calendula, and so many others – along with mushrooms – do what they do: Work with the body to help restore and revitalize it back to pure health.
Without these God given plants, there’s no way our two children (now both around 14) could have made it this far without ever needing pharma antibiotics. No way. Let me be clear, I’m not advising anyone to follow me. I am asking you to keep an open mind to a better way, a freer way, a simpler way of achieving your best health. It’s here. It always has been.
My fitness journey started back at twelve years of age too. Initially, I absorbed teaching from Franco Columbo and Arnold Schwarzenegger, and over the years tweaked and refined exercises and movements. I was a field goal kicker in college. As I finished college, an Olympic Gold Medalist boxer named Andrew Maynard asked me to train him. This culminated just months later with him fighting for the WBC Cruiserweight Championship. Later, I mastered a better way of jumping rope from the best in the world – a friend I later dubbed Dr. Jump Rope.
I never defined myself as a “trainer” but somehow ended up training some NBA basketball players, NCAA athletes, high school athletes, a pro tennis player, and and even spent a training session with current America’s Got Talent host Terry Crews — then an NFL football player.
Yet, my best discoveries came eight years ago training myself. I tested multiple workouts before discovering a strength workout I could do twice a week. To my and others amazement, it transformed my body at almost 55 to look better than it did at 25 (so says my wife).
And there are no questionable supplements, protein bars, or meal replacement shakes ever needed…In the end, it’s the total Pure Health Lifestyle – developed over nearly 43 years – that makes it possible.
